Woke to find the clouds had lifted and the paps were gold. Quick change of plan, checked with ferryman that a days delay would be OK and booked a hotel room for the night as a treat (the tent is tiny!). Last bus had gone so needed a walk instead - was pleasant and Alfie enjoyed the seals. Path was dry and the hills were beautiful. Luckily met a kind couple on the last hill who were happy to give us a lift back down the road. Was so glad I stayed. Had been due at the Knoydart bunkhouse - but emailed them requesting to rebook - which they were happy to do. The forecast for Knoydart was miserable. It usually is. Headed to Glencoe instead after return to mainland.
