On route back from Knoydart had time for an overnight stop and an evening walk before heading into Fort Augustus. Asked the Scottish Waterway guys at the Locks about Kayaking the area. Recommended a paddle up the Canal and back down the River Oich. Alfie very happy to have a relaxing day. Hopped in and out for the locks and all was good until he had a tumble out going over some rough water. Should have sat down... Little paddle in Loch Ness to Cherry Island. Gave Alfie and the Kayak a good wash after the sea. Headed home.
